There are plenty of activites in Dordogne!

​

Eymet, with a good range of shops is 6 kilometres away, although you can buy your morning croissants at Fonroque, only 2 kilometres away.  From Le Roudier you can visit the chateaux and bastides of the western Dordogne region, the vineyards of Bergerac and St.Emilion and the many attractions of the central Dordogne and Vezere valleys are within an hour's drive.

Bergerac Airport (20 mins) is serviced by direct flights from the UK.  Bordeaux  (1hr15) and Toulouse (2hr) have direct flights from the UK and Ireland.

 

 

The 3 golf courses in the area, 2 within 20 minutes drive, together with lakes for windsurfing plus canoing and fishing on the Dordogne,tennis in Eymet and horse riding in Sadillac mean there are plenty of outdoor activities. Bergerac is a lovely old town with good restaurants and shops, together with a lively and varied cultural programme.

 

Local produce is abundant in restaurants which range from farmhouse hospitality to haute cuisine and the lively local markets make shopping a pleasure.
