The Dordogne and the Vézère

Only an hours drive from Le Roudier takes you to the picturesque river valleys of the Dordogne and Vézère.  The dramatic rocks of the gorges perfectly frame tiny hamlets set into the cliffs.  Beynac and Roques Gageac form part of the most popular route down the river which can be tailored depending on your requirements.  From just a few kilometers to a 24km whole day experience, it is the perfect way to see some of the best scenery in this region.

On arrival at the canoe hire facility, you can park the car and check-in.  Once all of the formalities have been finished and life-jackets issued, they will take you by bus to a location up-river so that you can start your leisurely paddle back to base.
